This tour date is for the Omaha area departures. The only tour company in Nebraska to stay on the island for 3 nights! Take your time enjoying the island without rushing while you enjoy the island! Visit and dine at the Grand hotel, tour the island, and visit Fort Mackinac. You can rent a horse and buggy, take a bike ride, eat as much fudge as you can stomach, join a lighthouse tour and relax to the sound of horses trotting down main street on one of the most beautiful islands in the world!

Day 1 - 

>>Welcome Dinner

Depart on your premium Mackinac Island experience! Lunch will be at Coralville Mall with many options to dine and shop! Along the way your guide will entertain you  with a fun game or maybe a great show to pass the time.  Once you arrive to your hotel, take a moment to freshen up and then head to our Welcome dinner hosted by Excite! It'll be a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers! (D)

Day 2 -
>>South Haven
>>Ferry to Mackinac Island

Visit South Haven on the shore of Lake Michigan! This quaint lakeside town is full of shops and restaurants for you to enjoy! Upon arrival in Mackinaw City we will board the ferry to Mackinac Island.  Rated one of the top 10 islands in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, Mackinac Island will impress you as soon as you step off the ferry.  Your hotel is just around the corner on Main Street for 3 nights! Let the Lilac Fest experience begin! (B)

Day 3 -
>>Lunch at Grand Hotel
>>Guided Carriage Tour of Mackinac

Fill up on a warm meal and take in the view as you enjoy breakfast at your lakeside hotel.  Today, tour the island by horse and carriage to get your bearings! Then, enjoy a spectacular lunch buffet at the Grand Hotel! It'll be one of the biggest and extravagant you have ever seen! After lunch you can explore this giant turn of the century hotel! Spend time on the veranda and take in the spectacular views of lake Huron! Spend the rest of the night strolling the quaint sidewalks of the island. The rest of the evening is yours to do as you please. (B, L)

Day 4 -

*Sip & Sail Cruise

*Lighthouse Tour

The great thing about staying on the island with Excite is that you have the opportunity to explore at your leisure. Experience the famous island with many excursions and activities! Or you can spend the day relaxing with a good book by the beach! Another option is to join us on a sip and sail cruise with live music and cocktails or go to Mackinaw City to explore lighthouses! Use this opportunity to bike to Mackinac Island’s numerous look out points, local shops, and many more countless treasures.  You can even rent your own horse and buggy, visit a museum or Ft. Mackinac! (B)

Day 5 - 

>>Farewell Dinner

This morning we head back to Mackinaw City! On the way back, enjoy a fabulous lunch and time to shop in Cadillac! From there the coach will take you back to Tinley Park. Spend the evening enjoying dinner with friends at your farewell dinner and relax before heading home tomorrow! (B, D)

Day 6 -

>>Travel Home

Today enjoy a great breakfast! Then, head back to the coach to continue the last jaunt to “the good life.” We hope everyone will be leaving this incredible experience with wonderful memories and enchanting stories to tell for a lifetime. (B)
