Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Bus Tour

Day 1 -
>>Welcome Dinner
A true journey this will be as we depart Nebraska for one of the largest balloon festivals in the world. You'll be up close and personal for the launching of the balloons, the native music and the amazing food and shops! Today is a travel day taking us all the way to Colorado Springs where we will check into our hotel just before dinner for a true American feast. (D)

Day 2 -

>>Las Vegas & Albuquerque Arrival 

We head out this morning with our eyes set to the south! Our afternoon stop for lunch and a stop in Las Vegas, NM before arriving at your spectacular hotel in Albuquerque.  After freshening up, dine with the guest at a great local restaurant before heading back to the hotel. Rest up for an early, crisp morning! It's sure to be one you will never forget! (B)

Day 3 -

>>Evening Session at the Balloon Fest
Today is definitely one to write home about!  Bright and early we sail on over to the festival for the “Dawn Patrol”, “Special Shapes Rodeo” and the “Flying Competition”. Next, visit Old Towne Albuquerque for their unique shops and delicious food! After lunch you'll ride the Sandia Peak Tramway!  Riding in a cable car to the top of Sandia Peak, you'll experience a difference in temperature but most importantly spectacular views of the valley below.  This evening, head back to the balloon field for the fantastic Balloon Glow and Fireworks! Day 4 -

Today you'll visit the Balloon Fest for the morning and evening sessions. But today we have an exciting excursion for the afternoon. Take the bus to Santa Fe for the day and explore a vast array of shops and restaurants, chapels, churches, and more!  Enjoy a spectacular lunch at a local restaurant on the way, then continue exploring this fascinating town! There is so much to see and do! The day is up for adventure and exploration. You'll make it back in time to enjoy another spectacular evening at the Balloon Fiesta! (B, L)

Day 5 -

>>Garden of the Gods

>>Farewell Dinner

As the balloons sail away from Albuquerque, we will journey homeward.  We have a few afternoon stops before arriving at our hotel in Denver.  On our way there we will tour Garden of the Gods, where you’ll have a guided tour of this magnificent geological masterpiece. Dinner tonight is with the group at an amazing local restaurant!  Relaxing in the mountain air has never felt so good. (B, D)

Day 6 -

>>Travel Home
Grab a last cup of coffee before loading the coach for Omaha. We depart the Rockies for a comfortable ride home. Lunch will be in Sterling, CO with stops in Grand Island and Lincoln. You will leave with stories and memories of a lifetime on this Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Bus Tour. (B)
